Wow 63 days smoke free, still not had any puffs of the old dirty ciggy, but have been thinking about it alot. Still managing to overcome it. It is funny though after so long without smoking that breaking the habits that go with smoking, like all of a sudden going to roll a smoke, when I no longer have tobacco at home...it is very strange what the mind can do???
I am week 4 now without patches, I still have them at home but I noticed I was forgetting to put them on and it not being a issue so I stopped using them, except for the tension that I feel from time to time and quick to lose it with my husband and kids, I think it is starting to tail off, mind you my family may not agree. I wonder if I should start using the patches again to eleviate the tension, but then Im sure I can get through it without them, as I would have to just start all over again once I stop using the patches again...I dont know what to do????

DAY 8 - and still smokefree
Onto 8 days without a smoke, i cant belive Ive gotten this far, I have had a few bad days, emotional and stressed mostly day 2 & 3, otherwise most days I have felt quite calm. I have already noticed my breathing is better and the chest phlem I use to have is going, its amazing the how quickly you notice the health benefits once you stop.
So I have gotten to day 8 and I am more determined than ever that this is it I am going to be a non-smoker, or am I already..i dont know?? I do doubt myself sometimes as the last couple of days I have thought about smoking as soon as my eyeballs open but it is mostly changing my routines and habits to fit that of a non-smoker. The 4D's are very helpful.
Im taking it one day at a time, and each day I dont light up a ciggie is a good day!!
Today is the day...been awake for 4 hours now without a smoke...this is normally smoko time at work for me right now...going to pop a lozenger in my mouth and go for a walk around the office building instead.
