What a great feeling, I now weigh the same as when I first quit, was planning on been lighter but still happy as have managed to lose the few kilos gained. I smell lovely, yesterday spent $190 on perfume.
I only have the occassional "smoke moment" which passes in a moment.
I have regained the confidence I once had as a teenager, that must come from the new found energy, self satisfaction, self worth, a husband that loves me even more (he is so proud) and if I can do this I can do anything.
To everyone out there, keep up the good work it is all worth it in the end, you will have very hard days, stay strong.
With my new job starting next week (Friday) I may not be in contact much but you WILL be hearing from me, thanks for all your support
Luv
Lynne

Thanks to you all. Boy that was a great celebration. Yuk Yuk this morning.
Pukeko, my hip is on the mend, gives me a bit of grief, but I am not limping like an old lady anymore which is great.
I finally did it
Since giving up smoking I have been looking for a new job. Today I have been offered a fantastic position with a fantastic company.
Great pay, great people, great hours, great perks. No other smokers in the office either, so no temptation.
I am soooo happy today, will have to have a big celebration tonight.
Party at my place...all welcome...non-smokers only!!!
Cheers

172 DAYS TODAY
Hey all just to let you all know I am now only 28 days away from my 200 mark and counting each one.
I have to odd craving but it doesn't last long, my weight is ok, not quite the weight I had planned to be, but am working on that.
It will be a bit slow for a while as I have a small fracture in my hip which has stopped me in my tracks, see the specialist on Monday. Lots of pain killers in the meantime.
Wish you all the best have a great weekend. (I wonder if this is working over the weekend now?) we will soon find out

JUST GETTING ON WITH IT...
Hi all, well it has been 129 days for me so far. I feel fantastic and the weight is slowly coming off.
I am training for the Tough Guy and Girl challenge in Rotorua on the 14th August, it has been great to have a focus or should I say goal.
I don't even think much about smoking or non smoking, so feel confident I have beaten it this time.
Have a great day everyone, stay strong

Great work, wow 5 days!! I bet you are feeling great. Zyban can make you feel a bit yuk but it sure does settle down after a while. The benefits of not smoking out weigh the side effects. Keep us posted on your progress.

Hey you are doing well, yes you are right, do not put another one in your mouth. Before you know it it will be day 13 then 33 then 103 etc
I used Zyban and have found it an easy journey this time.
Am focusing on the gym and the benefits I have noticed so far e.g fittness improvement and most of all recovery time.
Keep up the blogging we all find it helps, even if it is sharing your success or vent some frustration.
