Wow just looking at my stats for today was awesome at 84 days smoke free. I feel great. Then I looked at the bar and saw that the 5th December is also the end of my 12 weeks smoking program which is amazing.
The 5th December is a big day as I will outright own my fridge and washing machine as of that date which would not have been possible if I was throwing my money away on smoking still. My son gets to go on a wonderful school trip which was donated to his school and my husband and I get our Christmas present a bit early so quite frankly the 5th Dec is becoming my new favourite day of this year so far.
I want to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported me in my journey and wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It's totally funny but I keep forgetting I have been a smoker and then I remember to come and look at this page and see my stats and i'm amazed.
I only have 25 days til 100 days of quitting and then my husband owes me a trip to a spa. Yay.
42 days and feeling great
Well I have to admit that I was shocked to see I have gone 42 days without smoking. I occasionally forget about this site and then remember and come back for a look.
I have been feeling more and more energetic as time goes on. Was stuck at home the first week of the school holidays with a sick little boy but the second week we were out everyday and apart from sore feet I didn't feel bad. There was no interruptions due to me smoking so I felt great to hang out with all the kids.
I have also started selling Avon and am so enthusiastic about it. The energy I have I am throwing into my new "job" and it just feels fantastic.
I love the fact that my kids will hug me and there is no smell or chemical transfer to worry about and my son doesn't tell me I smell funny anymore (5 year olds honesty).
To all those who have made it this far and beyond well done, and to those just starting keep it up. It is well worth it. Just keep your goals in mind and you will feel that sense of accomplishment.

Well I now believe that I am a non-smoker. I have no wish for a smoke and in fact if I smell some one smoking I want to retch. I have no cravings whatsoever. I am really proud of myself and so is my family. I am happy to spend more time with my kids and not get distracted by my need to have a ciggie.

Well reached my two week mark. I no longer feel like a cigarette at all. In fact the thought and smell of one makes me feel sick. My husband still smokes but he is becoming more considerate such as not smoking right before bed.
Sense of smell and taste are very different than when I was smoking. The foods I like I am really enjoying now. My next goal is three weeks. See you all then.

Yesterday was hard but I think that was the nicotine cravings peaking. My five year old son seemed to push my buttons yesterday and I almost caved but I didn't.
Today I feel great. I don't feel the need for a cigarette and I feel like I have a lot more energy.
Next goal is seven days. See you all then :)
