This is hard!!!!!
Unfortunately I have not managed to stay completely smoke free :(
All I can handle is cutting back so when I would usually have a smoke first thing in the morning I wait until morning Tea at work and have one.
I have cut back and yeah I guess that is better than what I was smoking but still not good enough.
Keep waking up with a horrific cough and sweating like anything but I think that is more to do with the heat in Hawke's Bay at the mo rather than the trying to quit smoking. Patches etc haven't arrived yet.
Am drinking lots of water but again that is mainly to do with the heat.
Big ups to those who are managing to do this cold turkey cos I am struggling big time!!!!!
Without even thinking this morning I got out of bed made my coffee grabbed my smokes and went outside!!!!!
Can't believe it I am so gutted with myself!!!
I am changing my quit date to Monday cos everyone will be back at work and I will be busy as anything so won't have time to think about. Moving this weekend into our new house so I think trying to quit and moving will stress me out just a little too much and I would rather not have a spazz at my friends and family who are trying to help us move.
I will do this!!!!!!!!
Setting my Quit Date
Well I have just started a new job, moved to a new town and this weekend moving into a new house. How do I set a quit date with all of these things happening at once??
My partner has started to quit smoking as he isn't allowed to smoke at work but he gets home and that is the first thing we do together is have a coffee and a smoke. Do I need to quit coffee too????
I am serious about quitting but seem to keep putting off a quit date as too much in my life is changing.
