Hello everyone just thought I'd pop in quickly and let you know how my new day went, I have plodded along through the day so far without any nrt feeling slightly dopey tonight so I think I will have an early night. I had my first ever reward today I went and had a facial wow 1 whole hour of relaxing , being wrapped up in warm blankets while she done a neck and shoulder massage and the facial was so wonderful my skin feels all new I'd hate to pollute it by having a smoke, she done a glycolic peel, dyed my eyelashes, waxed my eyebrow and mow, massaged my face I feel so yummy some of my small wrinkles have gone lol. Yes I have booked in again for August that is going to be one of my treats, I realise now just how important these rewards are, I never bothered before but now will look for any reason to splash out on myself. I hope everyone had a good day and have kept warm and thank you all for your kind support yesterday it was one of the hardest blogs I ever had to write take care xx
one big slip up
Well I'm sorry to say I have had a major slip up, went out one Saturday night ended up having a un planed cocktail night and yes 1 puff turned into 4 smokes then didn't have any until the next Saturday night thinking I was such a smart ar*e being able to have a smoke only at the weekend turn round and bit me right on the backside, here I am 2 weeks later try to stop again. I'm so angry at myself, not only have I let myself down but also let all my supporters down and have been trying to pluck up the courage to tell you all so tonight is the night. I am so sorry after all the fantastic support you have all given me especially all of the non smokers up around my 246 day mark and have been with me from my start date. I have knocked 46 days off my timeline so I'm now back to 200 day's I have done this to remind me of how far I had came and also being an even number I can use the 201st day as my new start date.
I hope my stupidity shows all of you new quitter's that one puff will b*gger things up and have you hooked like it got me, I now know I can never have one puff because that's all it takes all that hard effort down the toilet.
A big thanks to quitline for their support over the last week and I'm now back on track and doing the hard yards again as I want to be a non smoker I have felt so sluggish and tired even though I wasn't smoking as much as last time, shows you how much it's not good for you.
DON'T BE A FOOL LIKE ME.

Evening all just thought I would pop in to say hello, everyone seems to be going along nicely well done to all :))
On a different note my poor little pussy cat fell off the corrugated fence and cut under his front leg and is now sporting 10 stitches and has to stay inside for 10 days much to his disgust, the poor wee man sits at the door in case somebody forgets to shut it and he can make his escape lol. Well everyone have a fantastic week and keep up your good work :))

Yay 200 day's and not one puff, here's to another 200.
3 years ago today my Dad died and it still seems like yesterday, I'm 100% sure he is looking down on me and saying how proud he is of me for giving up smoking. It's been a hard day for me as my Dad was my best friend, we shared happy time's sad time's and special times, he taught me lots of thing's and left me his tool box as he and I always had our heads under a bonnet together, most of all Dad and my Mum made me who I am today and I'm proud to say he was my Daddy I loved him very much. He has left a big hole in my heart but one day I know I will see him again hopefully not for a few years yet, so here's to my Dad (love you).
Hi everyone I hope you are all having a lovely day, just thought I would pop in since I had some time while the spuds are roasting. Good to see everybody doing so well in 15 days I will have reached the 2 hundy club if there is one lol. I'm not sure if I told you that I have been making some wine it's dandylion wine I picked them from our local park and it's been brewing since 11th November it has to brew until the tester thing gets to the red we are a wee way off at the moment and it has me worried as the wine is pretty potent now I think it's going to be more like Dandylion shot's than wine. I'm saving it for a friends 60th birthday party (oh dear) a bottle full of headache lol. What is everybody up to for Easter weekend I'm off to Kiakora I'm going to try doing some fishing as I have never done it, I can't wait I hope I catch something. Well my friends have a lovely afternoon :))
My fortune lol
Hi everybody well I went and had my visit with the fortune teller but she seemed to spend more time telling me about my husband and 3 daughters dam it lol, she took all there birthdays and worked out numbers etc but the one thing she did say about me was that I was healthy haha I didn't tell her I'd given up smoking either so that was a bonus. I was there for two and a half hours she liked to talk about herself and her daughter a lot, I could read her fortune because I now know a lot of her family's past, present and future lol. Oh well I will keep looking for a good fortune teller so if anyone in ChCh knows of a good one let me know.
Today is the first time in 183 days that I thought I might treat myself something so I'm off to a fortune teller this arvo should be interesting. Clem I did win some more on lotto I got $24 so I will re invest it in big Wednesday.Well it's the end of the cricket season so that means winter is on it's way, some much needed rain for those poor farmer's it's been a cracker summer and I have loved the heat, it's not taking long to change all the leaves are turning and the cars are dewy in the morning at least with cricket being finished the tractor can come out of our garage and my car can go back in. I hope everyone has a lovely week and take care :))
