For instance a couple of things that rung true for me are:
1. If you're feeling panicky, it could simply be that you're a shallow breather and when you smoked it was the only time you took a deep breath. Having stopped you are actually just not breathing properly so are feeling panicky, this is the reason why it's good to take deep breaths.
2. If that little voice is telling you to 'just have the one', don't deny that you want the cigarette, but tell yourself instead, ok fine but do I also want the subsequent packs of 20, the cost, the bad health, because that's what comes after 'just the one'.
I'm on day 16, doing ok but still thinking about smoking all the time, hopefully soon that gets better. All in all things are ok.
