Big 60 days smokefree but still miss it.
Yep got to 60 days today. Iam finding it alot easier now,not so grumpy anymore. Picking up a little weight so need to watch that ,but quite contempt with myself and my new life.
I don't find it hard when people are smoking around me, the only thing I don't like is when they talk to me when they have finished as there breath stinks real bad. I don't hate smokers I think they get picked on alot and I know how they feel as I was once there myself.
BUT!!! I do still miss it
Good luck to all the newb's once you get over the first 14 days then you are truly on your way to success. And to the old timers keep blogging and helping us with our journey we could'nt do it without you guys. And from me thanks for the support from you guys, you have made it work for me.
If you think we have got it bad take a look at the news headlines today. Thoughs poor prisoners have it hard, no lighter ,tobacc, paper nothing. Told to quit without much warning, no choice in the matter. That must be so hard for these men and women, the only thing they had was there ciggys.
We have it easy, at least we have a choice. There is no slip ups for the prisoners. That in its self should make it easier for us . I would rather have my freedom from tobacco than be a slave to it. Have a good day all
patch the hole
I decided to go back on the patches today. Was off for 3 days and felt terrible. My cocky attitude would lead me into temptation, I really don't want to mess up so back to the patch. But I can say that I went solo for 3 days which would be the first time in 26 years. My mind has to be right , cannot afford a slip after 41 days. Anyone got some advise???? Iam not out of the woods yet.

Well, hi every one. Hope you quiters have been good. Just got back from the GC ,awsome 8 day holiday in the sun and surf average temp 28 degrees. Sorry guys but i had to rub it in.
And it is my 3rd day off the patches. I decided to use my patch for 2 days instead of throughing it away. I never sleep with it on only have to stick it on again in the morning. I suppose I just made my mind up, can't tell you how I feel cause I really don't know, still have gumpy moments which I need to work on . I have noticed I have become a real A,,,,h,,,e!!!!!!
So I need an attitude adjustment. I keep blaming everyone around me for my smokefree life. Instead of being happy Iam kinda misreble. Any one else had this before???
Oh I do have major dizzy spells without the patches, done 3 days going to keep going
1 month brothers and sisters
30 days today. Iam really stoked, it has been tuff but hey it was tuff to start smoking in the first place. No one ever talks about the time they started smoking, coughing and barking, eye's watering and a little bit of choking. How stupid we have been through our live's, it was so unnessesary.
Well good luck to all you quiters out there Iam off to Gold Coast for a holiday with my family. Cheers

Its day 23 and it feels like day 3. What the hells with these craving so late in the game. I wanna pull my hair out. I normally help everyone else, but now I need help. Wish this day and week was over.
21 days or 3 weeks or 504 hours smokefree
Hi everybody, hope you guys are sucking on some good old kiwi fresh air today as its been a cracker with heeps of sun and a good day to watch my daughter go for her first swim(not me of course I am not that crazy)
But beside all that it has been quite a daunting day, kinda running around trying to stay bussy but not finishing anything. Its like Iam anxious waiting for something that not there. Cooked tea but couldnt handle the smell that lingered around the house annoying me, and no i didnt burn anything. Its just been weird. Its almost like a dog waiting for a reward for doing something rite,i already got my reward 21 days ago and should be happy with my accomplishment.
Have a great smoke free day and will be following all you bloggers around as usual. Thanks for all your support it couldnt have done it on my own.
