I hope everyone is having a fantabulous, cruisey day :-)
I am having a day of remembrance for an old friend and an old foe.
Ciggies, one year ago today I left you and although I have missed you, I do not want you back.
Grandmother, two years ago you left me and I have missed you terribly. You are my inspiration and strength, the reason behind my success. Rest in peace nanna, till we meet again.

Nothing drastic to report here but I did hear a song that fits us all (if you ignore the verses and focus on the chorus). A happy little ditty that will brighten many a dark day.

So many days have passed I nearly forgot to celebrate. You know you're winning when not smoking becomes "the norm".
15/2/12 was my original Q-Date, although I made it 6 months before having a relapse (6 weeks) I reset my stats and started again. Now that my lost "breathday" has come about, is it really so wrong that I told someone it has been a year today? I mean really, my relapse was so short in comparison to my successes and they don't know any different. Who knows, maybe it might inspire somebody?
Anyhoo, a week shy of 5 months and feeling fine. I have had an awesome summer, enjoying the great outdoors with an abundance of energy. Plenty of swimming and beach visits with no gasping for breath at the end of it all, this is the biggest change I have noticed. Kids and I all have new clothes, guiltfree shopping- YEEHAA!
Little miss has an emotional attachment to my hair and I know when she wants to hold/sniff, I don't have to worry about 2nd hand smoke. My skin is clear, my teeth white and I am healthy. Any other pros you want to add? Many more I am sure.
I am awesome and so are all of you :)
