Got a story for ya all :-)
Slipped up and had a ciggie yesterday oops but figured out why......
My slip up has shown me i need to move house, my flatmate is a smoker, drinks copious amounts of wine and bums me out whenever i have friends over, i've called her on it but you can only change yourself, so this little nursie chick is going to go and find a smoke free house with some like minded positive people that don't lie on the couch drinking and smoking,
Please tell me this possible as i'm such a believer in one door closes a better door opens,
Thanks in advance for everyone being amazing non smokers, off to sit an exam and get back to smoke free living!!
Rock on fellow non smokers!!
Have a fantastic smoke free Monday everyone, Whoop Whoop I'm excited today,
Remember we can all handle doing this!!!
Peace and mungbeans to you all!!!!
Wah was having such a good day
Wah was having such a good day feeling awesome and positive, studying away, gardening just generally feeling amazing.... then a good friend came over for a cuppa havent seen her in a couple of months, we chatted and jeez did i felt really sensitive and was weird not having a ciggie and trying to relax, and as she was leaving she said that she didn't mean to sound mean but i looked a bit haggered boo, and that i looked like i had been working a bit hard, boo the one day i choose not to wear make up and soak up some sun grr and yes giving up smoking is hard work,
Yay my first day of feeling amazing!!!
Thank goodness it's actually possible!! Had a great day at school, ran my butt off in the wood then went to a yoga class, yum dinner now study time,
Who would've thought running listening to eminem could be so theraputic for those grr moment's that you'd normally have a ciggie lol,
Huge high five to all those that have opted for a life of freedom from nicotine!!!
Getting to know myself as a non smoker - interesting
I smoked ciggies for probably close to 11 years hard out, always been a health freak so was always a complete contradiction. Have just completed week one no ciggies ahh! never knew i could run so far or train so much lol, the emotional side is quite full on as my body settles but it is comforting to know that heaps of other people have done this and suceeded so i'm sticking to it and digging my heals and i know i'll get my head around it given time, baby steps and rome wasn't built in a day.
I think i'm a little shocked at how much cigarettes had such a hold on me tho jeez i totally admire anyone giving up!!,
Anyway go all the people that have choosen a life of freedom from nicotine and i am certainly a member of your club :-)
