Quit Blogs Vie

New Quitline website and blogs coming soon.

Hi Quit Whanau!

We wanted you to be the first to know that in the next couple of weeks we are going to launch a new Quitline website including an updated blogs experience.

Firstly, don't panic: all your old blogs, supporters and badges will remain the same. However, the pages will look slightly different, so it might take some time to get used to.

So - why are we telling you?
Well... while we swap over to the new site, both the Quitline website and these blogs will be unavailable for up to 12 hours. Sorry for this inconvenience, but the Quitline tech goblins need time to move their pixels and code around the cyberworld. Rest assured we'll be back as soon as possible with a shiny new website for you all.

Improvements to the new website include:
- A completely refreshed look and streamlined functions
- An experience optimised for mobile phones (finally!)
- Better member functions and a simplified sign-up experience

The exact timing of this new website launch is not known yet, but we expect it to be very early in June. We'll try and update you closer to the time.

Thanks - The Quitline Team

Profile image Woodsie9 May, 2017

Well you'll have to join the queue. No trying to push to the front of the line! 125 days is damned impressive. Keep up the good work and I'll let you know when i get my badge and then you'll know yours is on it's way. : )

Profile image nanaturtle9 May, 2017

Ive been waiting too, for my Hundy post badge! I dunno if Ive even posted that many! No too savvy with these things!

Profile image Tropicanna10 May, 2017

When I get to 100 days smokefree, If that blue badge doesnt appear just after midnight, I think I would be disappointed! I would ring quitline and ask them about it. I love stickers and badges and stuff. :) there might be a little glitch in the system that quitline doesn't know about?

Not so cranky today

This week has been crap,I am on holiday for two weeks but I wasn't prepared for no routine. Been a few times this week I have thought about ciggies,it didn't help that Thursday I had to go to town I was freaking out that I wouldn't get home because we had a big fire and the road was closed people and trucks everywhere got home ok bot only to be woken by a series of good earthquakes 😩 .Once not so long ago this would have had me puffing like a train, but not anymore I'm thankful I've managed to escape from the nicotine trap it makes me proud that I now understand that cigarettes don't help in anyway to get through stressing situations.I have also learnt smoking doesn't make wine taste any better this is good because I like wine 🍾.Well all that said we have escaped to the west coast for the weekend .

Profile image Woodsie4 March, 2017

Bit of a prick of a fire that (I presume you're referring to the Lochiel one). It's surprising how hose wee triggers sneak up out of no where, but well done on pushing through.

Profile image GTMI5 March, 2017

Enjoy your weekend over on the west coast πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ
