For the new people who are starting out YOU CAN do it. I didn't think I could succeed. Believe in yourself and you can do anything! There is so much support here, just keep coming back.

PG and PSPSP
I know this is not a place to analyse people, but (just wipe away everything I said before I used 'but')....
You are amazing. I admired how you were from the beginning; what you see is what you get! You are so straight up and always come from a caring place. Your encouragement and own experience has been priceless. I think you are a hip lady!
You are so kind. You have the ability to make people feel so special; you are open, humble and honest, this definitely makes people connect to you. I know your life has not been easy, I also know you have had to work really hard to get to where you are today.
This is why you two are perfect together. This site was enriched when you joined. Your tough stance on 'NOPE', your encouragement, wisdom, hope, your book, generosity and sense of humour has gotten you to 505 days smoke free (and helped all of us!)
Well done you two xx

I am loving being smoke free!
Wow, it has taken a long time for me to say that I love being smoke free - it is true though! I managed my hens party last weekend without even thinking about smoking (three of my friends were smoking); instead, I sat back and had some fun! I did observe the smokers though... most of the comments were 'it sucks how expensive smoking is', 'I will stop one day' and the amount of times they had to go out to get their fix was sad to see. I am grateful I don't have to do that anymore.
It has been a hard and long journey; in saying this, apart from stopping drinking it has been my biggest achievement (higher than my degree etc). I love being healthy!!
It is my birthday today (yes, I am a scorpio hahaha); going to Waihi Beach tonight (my home town) to celebrate. Our wedding is next Saturday - the forecast is thunderstorms, yeeha, I think the photos will be awesome ha.
Please stick with it, do not give up before all of the amazing things start happening to you. I still come into this site most days, I am too familiar with becoming complacent - every time this has happened in the past I have relapsed, plus you guys are all really special to me xx
585 days smoke free!

I guess the difference this time is I will not pick up either substance (today I think of consequences). I wont pick up smoking because I have this site and you amazing people; each time someone relapses I can feel their pain and don't want to go back to that awful place.
Being smoke free makes me feel free. Any advice for the big day?

Yas, I admire your strength and determination and your 'never giving up' attitude, well done.
Maggie, you were one of the first people I met here in 2010, you are an inspiration.
