447 days!! I hadn't thought about how or what it would be like, this far down the track. I read the blogs and remember vividly how difficult it was. I wish to never forget that-it is my constant reminder. So, once again, I thank ALL you bloggers, newbys included-you help to remind me. I hope for you all that one day, you too can get here. It is more freedom than you imagine-honestly. For my Dad, Happy Birthday-you have been my biggest inspiration-I love You with all my heart xx
Hi all you achievers!! Thought it was bout time to check in and have discovered a few of us 'oldies' still hangin in and helpin out!! Good stuff. Today is 408 days down & happily smokefree! Superpleased to report my Auckland son (31yrs) is going hard at it too!! New years day (a million patches too!!) last ciggy night before-still not a smoke has passed the lips!! So proud is this mummy!! There once was 1non smoker outa 5. Now it's 1smoker out 5!! Cool,eh. Ive joined a fitness centre and am struggling with motivation(even tho health dictates-bit like smoking really). Told the Diabetes lady they oughta have a txt system like this!! Don't quite know how that wud work-but reckon the ideas a good one!! Keep cool in this wicked summer-gotta go baqck to work now-catcha later

Further to my quick blog this morning-I owe a humungous ThankU to all you good folk(+U know who U are) that have supported this journey with me :)) I almost missed the key date-cos of the leap year-I guess I got robbed a day(or given-depending on how you look at it!!) Either way-I KNOW I'm NEVER going back there!! I'm FREE to do what I want+how I please. How cool is that wohoo! enjoy your weekend folks. P.S. I celebrate every day!!

Hi all-quick question, got the ciggy thing sorted, now I need to know how to get thru Xmas and STILL lose kilos? Promised myself this year was MINE!! A few hurdles along the way, we arrive here Smokefree(awesome) however now got this dastardly thing called Diabetes (not so awesome) was told to move 8.4 kilos. Got rid of 5-the year ain't over!! I so wanna move the other 3.4 before it is-am I asking the impossible?? Always loved a challenge!! Any good suggestions? (short of burying my head in the sand for a week lol!)
