Okay I told my husband that i went to the movies with my male friend. That soooo didnt go down well. He said I shouldnt have told him F**. May I shouldnt have but I am honest with my husband and when he asks what I have been up to I tell him.
So he says to me he doesnt care if i hang out with mates. Then hes asking me how i would feel if he went to the movies with another chick, I dont mind because I know he loves me and thats that.
This morning my husband asks me what Im up to today, I said Im studying coz I got assessments due. He say oh arent you going to catch up with your mate??
f*** man talk about messing with my head!!!!
I so feel like screaming the house down right now!!!!
He is only a friend!!
If i went out with one of my female friends he wouldnt have acted like this, and I see no difference!!

He's behaving like that because he's getting a reaction - and to him a reaction shows that you 'care' about your friend. Do your best to shrug it off and he'll eventually get over it. You did do the right thing in telling him - imagine how you would feel if you hadn't told him. Regardless whether you told him or not there may have been something else that he would be kicking off about! Controlling people usually find something to be picky about. Continue with your study and do your best Poppy. Hold your head up and know that you DID do the right thing.
My BF is exactly the same, very very protective and it was very hard at the beginning of our relationship thats for sure as I have always had sooo many male friends through racing cars etc etc. But my BF is a painter and he although never tells me, he says the stuff that comes out of Builders and contractors mouth's about women...he said that females would be disgusted if they heard that stuff in the yard...I also had to start putting myself into his shoes and how I would feel if he had 100 female friends on facebook and on his phone texting them and going out to the movies with them etc...I would be extremely jealous I know it, so I backed off from my male friends (they understood) to keep the peace at home :) hehe we actually have a much better relationship now than we did before.
Men wtf.....damned if you do damned if you don't ...well done poppy for the honesty. You definitely hold you head high!!! Sounds like you still on track...even prouder...that St Johns wort definitely working.....xx
