20 days smoke free

Awesome effort 20 days! I was just going thru a old bag and found a packet of smokes with 7 in it, i just can't bring myself to throw them out, my partner thinks i should give them to him, But I'm like "they are mine!" i don't want to smoke one at all! but i like having them u shouldn't seen my smile when i found them.
This could be bad i should just throw them out

Yes I can just see the smile on your face! BUT......get rid of them corky. You have been smoke free for 20 days that is so awesome! Don't tempt fate, you never know when a bad moment can strike and the temptation could become all to much. Ha I have even sniffed the smoke when burning the rubbish, ridiculous I know lol.

I too can see your smile when you found those smokes! Unless you are sure you are really really strong, do get rid of them as Anita_M says. I will tell you here, that I still have a packet with 8 unsmoked ciggies, and after 514 days very stale smokes. They are in the cupboard & I know they are there, but there is no way I would ever smoke one. They are my souviners and I will one day frame them packet and all. I think you should consider giving them to your partner, at least. I take it he still smokes? Good Luck. You are doing so well!!

Get rid of them corky23. I have breathed deeply a few times when someone is smoking! lol I am on day 76 and everybody I saw today seemed to be smoking. Good Luck

good on you!!! 20 days is a fantastic achievment, and not far from 1 month!!
as far as the 7 cigarettes? get rid of them! i know its hard to do, but there is no point teasing and tempting yourself.
im so glad i didnt have any in the house, because although i didnt feel like them most of the time, on occasions, im sure i would have picked on up if it was on hand.

its insane the love we have for something that is soo gross and disgusted and bad for us, thanks for all the advice, I think il throw them out the car window on the way to work, even tho i hate littering, or give them to my partner that still smokes

gemrat29 January, 2012

I reckon you should throw them out. What is the point in keeping them. You need to let go. Congrats on being smokefree for 20 days. Awesome.

I agree, get rid of them, just so as not to tempt fate.....you're doing brilliantly so far; don't make it easy to slip up.... :)

Hahahahaha, When i was cleaning out my car, i took the front seats out so i could get under the seats to clean properly, well i found all sorts stuck under there including quite a few old smokes & i thought to myself.... no wonder it cost me so much, LoL
Yea just biff em out or give em away, it doesn't matter, just get rid of them, if you keep them then you're planning to have them.
Well done on the 20 days, you wouldn't want to chance losing that & going back to day 1 by having smokes around would you.!
cheers

Light a fire and slowly burn them one by one. Ive kept one hiding in my draw. Its not that i want it i just like knowing its there. But one is all ya need. get rid of the rest how ever you want.
